I am a fan of Avia shoes in general and have worn them for several years. I tried on a pair of these shoes and they felt terrific as Avias usually do for me. They take some getting used as it feels like there is a tennis ball under the balls of your feet at first. I wore them a little bit on the first few days and the first few stints on the treadmill with them on were short. I felt a bit sore the first few days, and that is good, I know they are working.
The first thing I noticed was that my posture was immediately improved with these shoes on. I have had them a few weeks now and I do like them, yes they do contribute to my work out, they are comfortable to wear and my posture is improved. Excellent shoes.

I bought this shoe to work out in and walk. It takes a few minutes to become accustomed to the sole and the rocking, but it is a fast adjustment. I usually work out about 45 minutes and walk about 30 minutes at a time. At the end of the walk, I can't wait to take these shoes off. My feet are achy and tired. I don't know how some reviewers were able to wear them all day. I'll keep trying them, but I switch back and forth to my regular nikes to give my feet a break. I don't notice a big difference in "the burn" when wearing them either, but I may be too distracted by my feet hurting! I bought my usual size too. I don't think I would spend the extra money again for this style.

I love these shoes. I was going to get the Skechers but one of the ladies at work has them and she said her calves hurt too much to wear them every day. I wanted a shoe that I could wear everyday because I have heal spurs. I found these, tried them on, bought them and have worn them every day since; day 4 today. I am on my feet all day at work and now my feet and legs do not hurt anything like they used to. My calves do not hurt at all. I don't know if they are getting toned or not but that is not the main reason I bought them. They were on sale and I saved $40 dollars choosing this shoe over Skechers. Love 'em.

I just love these shoes! The first time I put them on, I almost lost my balance. They take some getting used to. The shoes immediately improve posture. They made me look 10 pounds lighter and I have had people asking me if I have lost weight. How wonderful! I love how they feel in the day...like I have springs on the bottom of my shoes. I haven't noticed the calf muscle difference as much, but my feet and back feel so much better.

looking 2 get healthy
I wanted a pair of shape up sneakers. I looked and tried on Sketchers, a brand I normally love. But they didn't feel right and I could't get over how I ugly they looked. (JMO) I saw the Avia ones and tried them on and liked them right away. They are comfortable and not to horrible looking. The best part was they started off cheapr then Sketchers and add that with the sale the store was having on them, I saved about $40. Can't beat that!!
