Amazing August 2, 2010 C. Heelen ("The GB", Maryland) A runner friend of my husband's recently recommended Brooks to him, as he is a severe pronator and walks a mile to and from work every day. Bought him a pair of Beasts for Father's Day and he can't say enough good things about them.
When my SI joint pain recently became so severe that I started contemplating spinal fusion surgery, my husband suggested I try a pair of Brooks first. I used the Shoe Advisor on their website and based upon my frame size and intended use, it recommended I try the Adrenaline GTS 10. I researched them a great deal before spending any money, as they are not cheap. It turns out that for my needs, the GTS 9 was a better match (wider and slightly better support). I don't wear these to run; in fact, I haven't run in years. But I needed a solid stability shoe with arch support for my back, which is a mess due to scoliosis.
These are amazing. First pair of athletic shoes I've ever owned that felt great out of the box. I was formerly a New Balance devotee, but now I'll never go back.
Uncomfortable!!!! July 7, 2010 Jmestanberry It might have been a great supportive shoe if it wasn't for all the blisters!!! How can u run when your skin is getting rubbed off!!
2nd pair May 19, 2010 E. Blair (Seattle, WA United States) This is the second pair I've owned. I tried the GTS 10 but my heel slipped a bit. I have a narrower foot, and the GTS 9 fits me better. I've been buying the Adrenaline GTS series for a few years.
Dr. recommended shoes April 17, 2010 C. M. (MI United States) My Dr. recommended these shoes to me because I am flat-footed. They do provide more support, however, I had to get them half a size bigger and go down to narrow for the right fit.
running shoes April 2, 2010 Cynthia L. Mcnally (OLATHE, KANSAS, US) Bought these for my daughter for Christmas. She just called and said she loved them! Had just gone for a run in them.
