 Great boots... no more slipping in the snow! March 9, 2010

Unlike any other shoe or boot I've ever had, these boots keep me securely attached to the ground on snow, on wet pavement, even on linoleum with melting snow on it. They also appear to be totally waterproof. The lug soles are barely showing any wear after about a year of use. The suede also continues to look good despite the fact that I've worn these boots in all sorts of weather conditions. I ordered 1/2 size up and they fit fine. Why pay more for Uggs?

I think that the boots i bought was really nice because the sheepskin inside keeps my feet warm. Plus, the good texture make my feet feel a little lighter

I own several pairs of UGG boots but, eager for a bargain, thought I'd try these after I read other reviewers compare them favorably to UGGs.
Right out of the box they were just noticeably different, and not in a good way. The sole seemed clumsy and blocky. The fit was all right, mildly large, but there's not nearly as much fur in the sole of the boot than in my Uggs. This made them much less comfortable. (I'm a plantar fasciitis sufferer, which means I always need arch support. The fur in Uggs tamps down in such a way that I can wear them without orthotics. Not so, this boot.)
The third issue was that I ordered a black pair, and noticed the dye had rubbed all over my legs, leaving me with grey ankles. Probably you could wear them with dark socks to prevent the dye issue, but I wouldn't wear them with white socks or pants!
Maybe I just got a bad pair, but I remain unimpressed with these and plan to return them. They aren't terrible, and for a person on a budget they'd certainly be a reasonable compromise. However, if you can save your work bonuses or babysitting money and order a real pair of Uggs, I'd personally go that route.

I love these boots!! No need to wear socks, they're soft and warm. I could care less about Uggs, these are perfect! and a great price too!
